Terms

Last updated: 23 July 2026. These Terms explain how booking requests and private consultations with Rivaelis work.

1. Who we are

These Terms are issued by Rivaelis, Floor 3, Colmore Practice Rooms, 28 Colmore Row, Birmingham B3 2AP, England ([email protected], +44 121 496 0834). Rivaelis is a private practice and is not an NHS service.

2. What this website offers

This website provides information about Rivaelis and a form to request an appointment. Submitting the form is a request for contact, not an immediate confirmed booking and not a purchase of medicines or online diagnosis. Payment is not collected on this website.

3. Consultations and fees

Published consultation fees (VAT where applicable) include:

  • General Practitioner (GP) / general consultation (40 min) — £110
  • Specialist initial consultations (35–45 min): Urology £230; Orthopaedics £245; Gastroenterology £265; Ophthalmology £205; Rheumatology £240; Respiratory £235; Allergy £215
  • Follow-up (20 min): General Practitioner (GP) £80; Specialist £155

Fees cover clinician time and clinical assessment within the visit. Laboratory tests, imaging, procedures, medicines, and extra referral letters beyond the visit are not included and may be charged separately by agreement.

4. Booking process

  1. You send a booking request with the required fields.
  2. We contact you to discuss availability and agree an appointment where possible.
  3. Payment is arranged at the clinic or when the appointment is confirmed (debit/credit card or bank transfer; insurance on request).

We do not guarantee same-day appointments. Availability depends on clinician schedules.

5. Cancellation and non-attendance

Please cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before your appointment by emailing [email protected] or calling +44 121 496 0834.

  • If a prepayment was taken and you cancel at least 48 hours in advance, we will refund that prepayment within 14 days.
  • If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice or do not attend, any prepayment may be retained.

6. Clinical limitations

A consultation is a medical service; outcomes vary between individuals. This website does not diagnose conditions online. If you need emergency care, call 999 or attend the nearest Accident & Emergency department.

7. Acceptable use

You must provide accurate contact details for booking requests and must not misuse the form (for example by submitting automated spam or another person’s details without authority).

8. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable UK law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from website use or from delayed responses to booking requests.

9. Privacy

Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply.
